I was too close to her baby and she was making quite a fuss.

Mary, I am very glad you came that close :) I love the shot! It is incredible! The bokeh is amazing and the dof. I love the thins spiderweb that I can see on the leaves. Awesome!

@Marion: I felt a little bad that she was so flustered :) but I was never closer than about 5 feet. To her though that was way too close ha ha.

Where's Dad? Out looking for food? I've always seen cardinal dad feeding the kids and even the wife.
I like cardinals, I think they are smart birds! Everytime the feeder is empty the dad will come yelling outside my door to the deck, when I out on the deck he'll be so excited and jumping and chirping. To me they are just as smart as a pet dog. :-)
