I love the space you let on the right side. it makes free the look of the bird. 3 Apr 2009 10:57am Lee from Fort Frances Ontario, CanadaLovely capture Mary. I see the buds are starting to appear. Spring is sprung. 3 Apr 2009 11:06am @Lee: Thank you Lee. You would not believe the change here in the last 4 days. That must be why they say Spring has Sprung. Everything seems to just burst out...most things are budding now, daffodils are open, Hostas are three inches high....the buds in this picture are now 1 1/2 inches long....and wow the grass is really green. All this after several rainy days and 2 days in the 60's. It shall be at your door shortly my friend :) Ernest from Sydney, AustraliaI like your featured friend. They are lovely. Even though the feeder is just outside my patio, the birds are just so small that they blurr when I have my lens (300mm) fully extended. I got some good ones of the squirrel eating the bird food, which I will post soon, but the birds I just cannot get. I am totally in awe over all your fantastic bird shots! Simply WOW!!! :) 3 Apr 2009 2:17pm Tarolino from Espoo, FinlandWhat an enchanting little bird and such a wonderful shot of it too. 3 Apr 2009 11:39pm observing from North West, United KingdomAbsolutely lovely capture, and it's perfect. 3 Apr 2009 11:51pm Bill from Belton, United StatesWe used to have bunches of these little fellows when we lived in Maine.
