I love photography.
My favorite things to photograph are nature, outdoors and wildlife. And Macro is my preferred choice in the way to photograph nature. Hopefully in the future to also include grandchildren :)
I use photoshop elements a little to just adjust contrast and sharpness. I do occasionally use filters to soften or change the mood of some of my photos. I try to mention that when I use them.

I'm also a country girl. I grew up on a dairy farm.
Now I live on a small 34 acre farm in the country. Nearly of my photos are from somewhere on my little piece of heaven.

For macro: Sigma 105mm macro lens (also used with extension tubes and the Canon 500D close-up lens)
For birds/wildlife: Canon 100 -400mm L IS
canon 70 - 300mm IS
18-55mm kit lens
Sigma 50mm

My pocket camera is a canon G 9
